Island Breaks

Tanzania is the combination of two lands; Tanganyika and Zanzibar islands, which formed Tanzania on April 26th.
While Kenya’s safaris are indeed the main attraction almost always associated with the country, it still has at least one more place to give different perspective to all visitors: Lamu Island.
It is composed of the Zanzibar Archipelago in the Indian Ocean, 25–50 kilometers (16–31 mi) off the coast of the mainland.
Other nearby island countries and territories include Comoros, Mayotte (region of France), Madagascar, Réunion (region of France) and Mauritius to the south.
The country includes the islands of Mauritius and Rodrigues. The islands of Mauritius and Rodrigues form part of the Mascarene Islands, along with nearby Réunion, a French overseas department.
The island is characterized by its early isolation from the continent and India due to the prehistoric breakup of the supercontinent Gondwana, Madagascar split from the Indian peninsula around 88 million years ago, allowing native plants and animals
Other countries near the Comoros are Tanzania to the northwest and the Seychelles to the northeast. The islands emerged from the floor of the Indian Ocean as a result of volcanic activity.
Cape Verde, also known as Cabo Verde, is a former Portuguese colony comprises 10 islands and five islets, all but three of which are mountainous.
